Saturday Evening Practice 15/05/2012

Due to the fantastic entry received by Nottingham City Regatta, racing will run until 19:15 on the Saturday.
Regrettably, this means that the course will not now be available for crews who wish to practise.

Entries Closed 09/05/2012
Entries have now closed with a mammoth (and record) 662 of them. The draw will be published here on Sunday night. Please note that there will now be no further refunds of entry fees for crews that now withdraw.



2012 Entries Open 01/04/2012

Entries have now opened for the 2012 British Masters Championships.
Please note that all entries must be entered via the British Rowing Online Entry System (BROE) and must be paid for by the time entries close.
BROE is provisionally due to close at 18:00 on Wednesday 9th May 2012.

2011

2012 Date 28/11/2011
The British Rowing Masters Championships is moving to a different weekend in 2012 because the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham is not available on the event’s normal weekend. This is because of changes to the late May Bank Holiday and because of the Olympics.
The new date is Sunday 20th May 2012.
The full range of Masters events will be offered, as usual, together with a good range of events for Intermediate 3 Masters and Novice Masters.
Provisionally the following events will be offered for all age categories (A-I):-

  1x 2- 2x 4- 4x- 4+ 8+
Open Championship * * * * * * *
Open Intermediate 3 *   *   * * *
Open Novice *   *   * * *
Womens Championship * * * * * * *
Womens Intermediate 3 *   *   * * *

Entries will open in BROE on 1st April 2012 and will close at 18:00 on Wednesday 9th May 2012.

Entries have now closed and the Organizing Committee are delighted to announce another record entry, this time of 550 crews! The draw will take place on Saturday 4th June and will be posted here on Sunday evening, 5th June.

2011 Regatta Details 23/03/2011
The 2011 British Rowing Masters Championships will take place on Sunday 12th June at the National Watersports Centre in Nottingham.
The closing date for entries is provisionally 18:00 on Wednesday 1st June 2011
The British Rowing On-Line Entry System (BROE) will be open from 1st May 2011

Record Entry 03/06/2010
The Organizing Committee are delighted to announce a record entry of 539 crews!



Rock the Boat 03/06/2010
Following the successful trial in 2009, the official 2010 British Rowing Masters Champs t-shirt will be on sale at the event. T-shirts and programmes will be at the Rock the Boat stall on the grass by the bar above the grandstand, and on-line. It is designed by Olympic rower, Annabel Eyres, and Britsh Rowing Masters Champs receives a donation from every sale to help offset some of the mounting costs of the event. It is a short sleeved navy t-shirt printed with a one colour front & 2 colour back design and features the list of all competing Clubs at £16 each.

Victor Ludorum 27/05/2010
The Championships organisers in association with the family of Harry Harvey have decided to offer in his memory a Victor Ludorum prize for the first time in 2010.

The prize will be awarded to the most successful club in accordance with the published rules, and will comprise a trophy and a cash prize of £500. The Harry Harvey Cup
